Hi! Nice to meet you. I'm Amanda. I am the owner and clinical director of Thrive Hive Physiotherapy & Wellness. Creating a space that elevates women’s health and family care has been my passion project. 

I get it – there aren’t enough hours in a day and finding the time to do something for yourself can seem like a luxury. There’s nothing I love more than helping my patients overcome barriers and thrive in a healthy and active life. Through rehabilitation, motivation and movement, I am here to create a plan that you can commit to. This is YOUR journey. I pride myself on creating a safe and comfortable space. So come in, kick off your shoes, let’s chat and effectively manage your concerns. 

Beyond treating what we would traditionally think of as “physio,” I have extensive training and knowledge when it comes to women’s health and pelvic floor rehabilitation. I have a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and have successfully completed my pelvic floor physiotherapy education at the highest level. I am a strong advocate for women’s health throughout all life’s stages and want to ensure you feel seen, heard and validated.

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST

Jake Rogers, RMT

With over a decade in the fitness and health industry, Jake brings a movement- and athletic-based approach to helping the body heal. In 2015, Jake earned his diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College. Following that, Jake became a rehab focused personal trainer/conditioning coach focusing on working with wrestlers, strength-based athletes, and individuals with physical disabilities. Having wrestled for 6 years he’s personally familiar with athlete’s focus on recovery and injury management.

Jake attended Humber College’s Massage therapy program where he graduated in 2020 and is now a registered RMT with the CMTO. He has also completed additional training in IASTM, cupping, A.R.T and attended numerous movement pattern-based courses. Jake has a drive to consistently improve his knowledge and believes that you can achieve results in multiple ways. He strives to find the best way for each patient. 

In his spare time, you will find Jake training in the gym as a bodybuilder or out looking for new places to explore with his fiancé.

ANGELA MOLINARI, RMT

Meet Angela Molinari, a massage therapist dedicated to enhancing the well-being of her clients. Angela’s unique knowledge and experience in healthcare allows her to create an individualized therapeutic and rejuvenating client experience.

Angela earned her degree in Physical & Health Education from the University of Toronto in 1994. After more than a decade of working in the hospital setting with children and families, she chose to expand her knowledge by focusing her talents on health and wellness. Angela graduated with an Honors Diploma, Massage Therapy from Bryan College and is a registered massage therapist in good standing with the CMTO.

Angela has mastered a wide range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and more. She understands the power of massage therapy to address specific wellness goals. Whether it is alleviating chronic pain, reducing stress, improving flexibility, or enhancing overall relaxation while promoting mental and emotional well-being. This approach has developed Angela’s reputation as a trusted and skilled massage therapist with a loyal clientele. 

Angela is also a dedicated educator in the field of massage therapy sharing her knowledge and expertise as a mentor and instructor to aspiring professionals.


CERTIFIED HOLISITIC NUTRITIONIST
FERTILITY PRACTITIONER

JESSICA PRICE, CNP

Jessica Price is our Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Fertility Practitioner. She believes that the way we nurture and care for our body, heart, and mind not only has a profound effect on our well-being but also on the people around us and the lives we create. Jessica shares her insights on how you can form healthier nutritional and lifestyle habits to create a way of living that honors the health &; well-being of our future children, and families. 

Before becoming a Certified Nutritionist, Jessica went to Humber College in 2019, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Youth Care. She then went to study at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she received her designation as a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Naturally, her passion for empowering women about their feminine health and educating families about proper nutrition emerged. 

Wanting to know more about fertility and how to support families trying to conceive, Jessica became a Fertility Awareness Educator at the FEMM Institute. As of March 2023, she has been working towards her Nutritional Consultant Certification for Pregnancy, Post-Partum, and Baby.

With her experience and knowledge, Jessica is spreading more awareness of the physiological and emotional shifts that occur throughout each menstrual cycle and the nutritional needs for having a healthy cycle, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum experience. 

Jessica has been working closely with women and men, supporting their reproductive, nutritional, and health dreams. Her practice involves conducting personalized nutritional counseling sessions to help couples achieve a healthy pregnancy and address the underlying cause of their health concerns. She also enjoys empowering women to track their ovulatory cycle naturally, and teaching women how to use their cycle information to create a lifestyle that serves their wellbeing. 

Most of Jessica’s clients come to see her for Digestive Support such as bloating, indigestion, and/or acid reflex. Gut Distress such as irregular bowel movements, constipation, and lower abdominal pain. Nutritional Support such as blood sugar balance, cravings, low energy/fatigue, and/or poor concentration. Hormonal/ Menstrual Imbalances such as PCOS, PMS, low mood, anxiety, subfertility, irregular cycles, heavy &; painful periods. Common Pregnancy and Postpartum concerns such as anemia, edema, insomnia, poor immunity, gestational
diabetes, post-partum depression, etc.

On her spread time, you can find Jessica in the pool swimming laps, on a yoga mat doing some crazy poses, reading, listening to podcasts, or out in nature. She is a true yogi at heart, a food lover, and is dedicated to growing her self-awareness.


NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR

Alexsia Priolo, ND

Dr. Alexsia Priolo is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with an extensive background in perinatal health and hormonal concerns (ex. hypothyroidism, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS). With nearly a decade of practice, she is dedicated to providing personalized evidence-based care to her patients.

She works closely with individuals and couples during the preconception period, ensuring that all potential fertility challenges have been thoroughly addressed. For those undergoing IUI and IVF procedures, she provides acupuncture and evidence-based diet and supplement support to enhance success rates.

Throughout the entire pregnancy journey, Dr. Alexsia offers comprehensive care. She provides support and treatment for common pregnancy concerns including nausea and vomiting, fatigue, insomnia, mood fluctuations, and constipation. She also offers acupuncture to aid in labour preparation, and can assist with breech or transverse baby positioning if necessary.

In the postpartum period, Dr. Alexsia guides new and experienced parents with diet and lifestyle techniques, managing hormonal concerns, and supporting for postpartum mood conditions. Her goal is to ensure that parents receive the care they need during this transformative time.

Dr. Alexsia's expertise and dedication have garnered  recognition in various publications, including NDNR and the CAND journal. She is a member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO), as well as the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
